Since 2001, Canadian Barista & Coffee Academy professionals have played an active role in raising the standard of specialty coffee in Canada by establishing Canada's first coffee magazine, organizing educational Coffee and Tea Trade Show Forums, and managing the Regional and National Canadian Barista Championships.
Our focus has always been on coffee education. We do not sell equipment or coffee and maintain our educational mission. The Canadian Barista & Coffee Academy workshop curriculum combines fundamental techniques used in barista competitions with practical skill building for operating a successful coffee business.
